I certainly am not doing well with keeping up with my blog. Many thanks to the folks who have helped me destash for vet bills. I still have more stuff to list. Buddy is doing better, and I've received some wonderful suggestions from people who also own boxers.
My knitting has suffered lately. It Lent, and since I only do charity projects during Lent, I'm working on CIC vests and have my loom warped and ready to start puppy blankets. Now is when I really need 48 hours days. I just hope I don't forget the change to daylight savings time this weekend.
We're decided on a new bed, so my new project is to get the fiber room into such good shape the we can move the old bed into that room for a guest bed. I found some great under the bed storage bags at Dollar Tree yesterday, so that will help with the space issue. But the fiber room is in such confusion right now - it's hard to know where to start. I live in a house build in 1920, and that era did not believe in closets or storage, although I have the largest pantry I've ever seen. The kitchen is huge, but had no storage cabinets or counters until Tim remodeled a few years ago. Just goes to show how society changes and what we deem important.
I'm trying to find a way to get pics on my blog - discovered that my computer doesn't have enough USB ports, so I need one of the extra ports that sits beside the computer. It's hard at my age (and flexibility!) to lean over the computer tower and switch USB cords - it feels like I'm going to dive head first behind the desk and never be found. Our ports on on the back of the computer - the newer models have more ports on the front. I want to get some pics of the puppies on th blog, and be able to show some of my fiber projects. And maybe share some of my exploits in dyeing and preparation of fiber.
So glad it's Friday. Iff to work, the two glorious days to myself - minus, of course, all the stuff you have to do that you can't get to during the week. Everyone have a great weekend.
